Five years back from now, I never heard anything like UX, HCI or Usability. After completing my Bachelor's in Computer System Engineering, I wasn't sure which field to opt for my future. It was then when I decide to pursue my education further. Therefore, I took admission in MS Software Engineering program. During the third semester of this course, I stumble upon HCI. It was for the first time I heard of HCI and, to be honest, I with all the other students tried to shut this course because we thought it's not worth it. But I thank you for my university and my HCI teacher that they asked us to take at least one lecture and then decide whether it's worth it or not.
Well, that's when my journey towards becoming UX Designer started. After that course, I opted HCI for my thesis. Completed my thesis successfully with one publication. Joined as a User Researcher in the company which was the only company in the Pakistan offering this Job. My boss was a graduate in HCI from the University of central London (UCL). We together build the number of excellent applications with excellent UX. 
After my boss shifted to Australia, I started working as a freelancer and since then have worked with the number of big companies. Solved number of UX issues and build many mobile and web applications from scratch!
